Tailored warranty periods based on product type. All emergency lighting must be professionally installed per electrical codes.
Etlin-Daniels (E-D) warrants its LED Luminaires to be free of defect in both component and assembly for a period of Five (5) years, and to properly operate from the installation date for the specified period.
This Limited Warranty is subject to the conditions listed below in this document. The determination of defect will be made under the sole discretion of E-D while considering the overall performance of the returned luminaire.
If E-D determines that the Luminaire is defective, and is within the 5-year warranty period, E-D may, at its sole discretion, repair the Luminaire, or replace the Luminaire with the closest equivalent product, should the original Luminaire no longer be available.
The 5-year limited warranty will not apply if the Luminaire suffers:

Installation Requirements
All Emergency Lighting installations must be performed in accordance with the appropriate Fixture Installation Guide that accompanies each Emergency product and must be installed by a certified electrician in compliance with local and national Electrical Codes.
E-D warrants its Emergency Lighting Fixtures to be free of defect in both component and assembly for the prescribed period listed below, and to properly operate from the date of installation for the specified period.
If E-D determines that the Emergency Fixture is defective and is within the prescribed warranty period, E-D may, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the Emergency Fixture.

Additional Provisions
Follow these steps for a smooth claim process
E-D must receive notification in writing of the defect within 30 days of when the defect was discovered.
E-D may require proof of purchase (invoice) of the defective Luminaire or Emergency Fixture.
E-D reserves the right to verify that installation and operation comply with the conditions listed in this document.
E-D will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) request form that must be completed.
Once completed and returned, E-D will issue an RMA number to bring back the defective product.
RMA documentation must accompany all returned products.
If documentation is not included, receipt of product will be refused and returned to sender.
E-D may request that the Luminaire or Emergency Fixture be returned either to E-D or to an authorized service provider.
Important Notice
E-D reserves the right to modify this Limited Warranty document. Warranty claims shall be effective for all orders received and shipped after the effective date of this or any subsequent modified Warranty document.
